This LCD Stand is a wishful thinker with the worst intentions.
Wanted under the aliases: LCD TV Stand, Monitor Stand, Plasma Stand, TV Stand, Screen Stand
As soon as I took this LCD stand out of the box I knew something was up. Sure, it looks amazing with superior craftsmanship at a ridiculous price, but something about this stand seemed a bit off. I’m not necessarily saying it looks like it could be of an alien, or recently became self aware and was intent on destroying mankind, but it almost looks like it could be an alien, or at the very least have recently become self aware with the intent of ruling the world and eradicating mankind. Look at the stand. 2 Hands, check. Large face-ish, head-like area, check. Feet, check. Body, check. And at the price it’s at? It just screams take me into your home so that when you go to sleep at night I can plot to and eventually destroy everything you hold dear. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve bought plenty of things from Displays2go before for my business, and have never seen items be popular into they’re placed into one of their wonderful displays. Recently in their online catalog they started carrying TV stands, and they do seem to good of a price to be true. I bought this one anyways because of how sweet it looks, and it just seems like it has plans to destroy everything I hold dear, from my kids to elephants. I can just imagine a huge LCD stand uprising, where I’m relaxing in my living watching a DVD, and suddenly my TV stand decides to throw my way too expensive television at me and suck out my life energy. Ah, all the pleasures of modern conveniences come with their consequences I guess. I’ll just make some popcorn and hope I’m wrong.
